Jeff’s Birthday

So, Jeff should probably post this one, but I’m guessing he won’t have time and then it will be May and an afterthought.  He did dub it his best birthday ever though, so how could we not share…  This past weekend Jeff celebrated the big 2-8.  Such a milestone, really.  Hm.  Well, he wanted to “Birthday Like We’re 12” and I think we did a pretty good job of that (except the stop at Starbucks where he did not receive a free birthday coffee- only 😦 of the day).

We started off as a typical Sunday and went to church with our friends.  Then we went over to the little metropolitan haven of Clermont to the fine establishment called Old Chicago Pizza.  We knew we were in the right place when we found a “Miller Park” right across the street!

so much birthday fun already!

The Birthday lunch crew-- including little Braydon at his first birthday party!

After lunch and cupcakes we headed over to Brownsburg Bowl for the joy and heartbreak of bowling.

the best (and maybe only good) part of bowling

I don’t have pics of the rest, but then some of us came back to our house and we played our inaugural game of bocce ball for the season.  Then time to eat again so some of us went to Noodles & Company.  Finished up the day with the tried and true coming back here for a game of Ticket to Ride (Jeff did let me do one thing that was my fav :)).  A full and packed day for sure!
